Explore a mini Latin American market with play money! Kids can shop for pretend fruits, match spices by scent, touch textiles, taste pan dulce, and make papel picado while learning through play.

Step into a colorful, hands-on celebration of Latin American culture! This interactive program transforms the library into a mini mercado where children can explore themed stations inspired by traditional Latin American markets. Activities include shopping for pretend tropical fruits, matching spices by scent, exploring textiles and crafts, tasting pan dulce, and creating vibrant papel picado banners. Kids will use play money to "shop" at each booth, encouraging exploration and playful learning about Latin American foods, traditions, and arts. Perfect for young learners and families!
