Northern Illinois Recovery Community Organization (NIRCO) will train staff in the use of opioid antagonists.

Beginning January 2026, Public Act 104-0056 requires local public libraries to maintain a supply of approved opioid antagonists for use in assisting individuals experiencing an opioid overdose.  A trained staff will serve our community most effectively.
