Drop by any time to sign up for a 10-minute audition slot! Everyone will be in the play. Auditions are to help the director determine roles.
The audition sign-up sheet will be hanging on the wood door leading to Meeting Room B from the Teen Space. Put your name down, then wait in the Teen Space to be called for your time. You can prepare a short comedic monologue or one will be provided for you at the audition. You will also read a short scene with the director. If you cannot audition, you can still be in the play! Everyone will be included.
Please register for the play rehearsals and performance here! We will rehearse on Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM for 5 weeks and then perform the play on the 6th week. Registration is required and registering for the first event will register you for all 6 sessions.
About the play --
"Um I Think the Psych Teacher is Dead" by Stephen Garvey
It’s the day of the Psych final…and the students are about to be put to the ultimate test. Their teacher is face down on the desk, possibly dead. Before the collapse, she handed out the exam, collected and locked away their phones, and even locked the door. The students debate over what to do, leading to arguments that (comedically) threaten to devolve into “Yellowjackets” mayhem.
Character breakdown:

Salutorian - Bright, super-driven and sick of second place.
