Join us for an hour long chair yoga class ending with a short meditation!
We are very excited to have Hope Limbos offer chair yoga for the community here at the library! This class is a great way to experience yoga for those who find other forms of yoga not to work well for their bodies, but it can also be wonderful for those who spend part of their day sitting, or for anyone who simply wants to learn healing ways to move their body. All levels are welcome and Hope is great at catering the class to meet the needs of participants. This one-hour yoga class will end with a brief meditation. Comfy clothes and an open heart are all you need to bring.
ABOUT HOPE: Hope began her yoga practice in 1999 at age 38 following a stage 4 thyroid cancer diagnosis. At that time she “changed everything”. “Everything” included shifting her mindset, a balanced diet, and starting her yoga practice. She believes that her yoga and meditation practice, along with the doctors, teachers, and healers God put into her life all attribute to her survival. This experience with cancer, and her many years prior dealing with chronic pain from injuries sustained in childhood gave her empathy and compassion for others. Her goal is to help educate as many people as she can and bring others to share in the healing benefits and energy that helped to heal her. In addition to working many years as a yoga instructor, she also works as a clinical Licensed Massage Therapist since 2013.
