A two day Showing of this 1954 Classic Foreign Film. Farmers from a village exploited by bandits hire a veteran samurai for protection, and he gathers six other samurai to join him.
A veteran samurai who has fallen on hard times answers a village's request for protection from bandits. He gathers six other samurai to help him. They teach the townspeople how to defend themselves, and the townspeople supply the samurai with three small meals a day. The film culminates in a giant battle when 40 bandits attack the village. The United States came with their version of this movie in 1960 called "The Magnificent Seven" with a sequel in 19gg called the "Return of the Seven" and in 2016 a Remake of "The Magnificent Seven. Due to the length of this film, it will be shown over two days, June 25th and 26th.
