The Success of the Movie Stage Coach in 1939, Led to Television developing many Westerns in the 1950's and 60's

Throughout the classic era of Television many Westerns were extremely Successful.  This would include Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Rawhide, and Wagon Train to mention a few.  TV also develop many 30 minutes westerns that included The Rifleman, Have Gun Will Travel, The Lone Ranger. and Roy Rodgers.  To prepare for the Movie Stage Coach we will look at some of these shows and see why they were successful.
