Join the Zion-Benton Seed Library for our monthly meeting! We will count, package, and inventory seeds for the gardening season.
Volunteers for the Zion-Benton Seed Library come together on the 3rd Wednesday of each month to repackage seeds and add labels with information and growing instructions. The Zion-Benton Seed Library was established March of 2022 through B.U.Z., IDGC, U of I Extension Master Gardeners, and Zion-Benton Public Library. In the 2024 gardening season, 6,205 seeds packets went out into our community! With your help we can continue to spread the joy of gardening to our community.
Interested in helping out? Show up to one of the meetings or reach out to the library for more information.
Teens and adults of all ages are welcome to participate.
