Sidney Poitier in his Directorial Premier brings to the silver Screen a 1972 American Western film. This becomes another threshold that he passes which allows future Black Actors to make their Mark

We have seen Sidney Poitier on the silver Screen.  We will now look at him from behind the Camera in the role of Director.  From his success led to the rise of Black entertainers on the Television production  Shows Like Flip Wilson, Room 222, Good Times,  Sanford and Son and The Jefferson.  Each of these TV shows has some connection through the works of Sidney Poitier.  Each also had a leading affect to future TV and Movies with top Black actors
